Next Steps Hub

What is Next Steps?

Next Steps supports young adults with additional support needs to develop everyday skills, explore new experiences and become more connected with their communities.

Whether it’s learning to cook, travelling somewhere new, volunteering, developing workplace skills, making friends, or trying something for the first time, we create opportunities around each young person’s interests, goals, and aspirations.

What happens at Next Steps?

Next Steps is all about doing, learning, and experiencing. Young people are supported to develop practical skills for everyday life while discovering what they enjoy and what they might want to do next. That could mean learning to cook or manage money, getting around the community, volunteering, gaining workplace experience, meeting new people or simply trying something new. There isn’t one set route through Next Steps. It’s shaped around the individual and what matters to them.

Work with Next Steps

Could you help create someone’s next opportunity?

We’re always looking to connect with local employers, organisations and community partners who can provide meaningful opportunities for young people. That could include volunteering, work experience, or opportunities to learn and practice new skills.
