Friends+ stands for Fun, Reliable, Individual, Educational, New, Diverse, Support.

Stars-blue
We help students and their families 24/7 by providing personal support that fits alongside the family and meets the needs of the young person.

Our service operates outside of our Teens+ opening hours but uses the resources of our Teens+ service to offer safe and enjoyable activities for young people with complex communication needs, autism and its complexities, and behaviours that challenge other services. Our aim is that Friends+ helps young people be healthier, happier and more independent.

Our staff

Our fully trained staff will work with the young person and their family to offer a fun programme of activities at a time that works for you. This could range from an evening visit to the gym, cinema or meal out, right up to supporting the young person on a weekend trip away.

Friends+ Club

Our Friends+ club also offers a chance for fun, social time at our Ravenscroft Centre. Students can meet up with their friends from Teens+ and spend time doing a range of entertaining activities.

Continuation of support

Friends+ provides a continuation of the Teens+ support, but outside of our normal centre hours. Our Friends+ service is tailor made for each student and the family’s needs. We can offer weekday evening social clubs, one to one weekend or 24-hour support. We’re here to be flexible to your family’s needs.
