Join us for an exclusive evening with Dr Rhona Morrison as she reads from her award-winning memoir, From Crime Scenes to Cruise Ships: Navigating life’s troubled waters with resilience and hope, at Kirknewton Village Hall.
Dr Morrison is an artist, author, professional speaker, and retired forensic psychiatrist based in Scotland. From Crime Scenes to Cruise Ships is an uplifting story of resilience, reinvention and embracing the unknown. Whether you’re facing loss, retirement, or a major life shift, Rhona’s journey is a reminder that even when life feels uncertain, you still have the power to shape your future. It may not look like you once imagined, but it can still be rich with meaning, adventure and possibility.
This event is being held to raise funds for Teens+ and Sleep Action, both of which provide essential support that enables people to thrive.
Teens+ is a pathway for school leavers with additional support needs to fulfil their potential. Sleep Action, formerly Sleep Scotland, is the UK’s oldest sleep charity that transforms lives by helping families and professionals to improve sleep through tailored support and training.
A welcome drink will be provided. Feel free to bring your own bottle (BYOB) to enjoy during the event.
