Join us for an exclusive evening with Dr Rhona Morrison as she reads from her award-winning memoir, I Don’t Talk To Dead Bodies at our Head Office at 95 McDonald Road, Edinburgh.
Dr Morrison is an artist, author, professional speaker, and retired forensic psychiatrist based in Scotland. In her book, she shares her journey of becoming a forensic psychiatrist through bizarre, funny, and shocking anecdotes. She also sheds light on society’s misconceptions surrounding mental illness and the need for health professionals to show more empathy with patients.
This event is being held to raise funds for Teens+ and Sleep Action, both of which provide essential support so that people can thrive.
Teens+ is a pathway for school leavers with additional support needs to fulfil their potential. Sleep Action, formerly Sleep Scotland, is the UK’s oldest sleep charity that transforms lives by helping families and professionals to improve sleep through tailored support and training.
A welcome drink will be provided. Feel free to bring your own bottle (BYOB) to enjoy during the event.
